Students learn basic knowledge of human anatomy and physiology/diseases, medical terminology, First Aid and CPR, and basic knowledge and care of the adult patient. Students completing all course work and a 50 hour clinical experience will become a State Licensed Nursing Assistant Certified ready for immediate employment.

Career Clusters: Health & Social Services; Science and Engineering

Ability to work with others, good communication skills. Basic math and science skills.
Program is open entry, which means a student may start at any time depending on space available. Students need at least 1 year for minimum skill development.

Session I – 8-10:30 am
Session II – 11:10 am – 1:40 pm
Alternating days for Peninsula, Gig Harbor and South Kitsap or customized as needed.
