1 or 2 Year Program
In the Engineering and Design Technology program, students study CADD (Computer Aided Drafting and Design) operations on a high-level, industry standard program and create 2 and 3 dimensional drawings of buildings, products and machinery using a variety of CADD programs. Students will have 2 1/2 hours of computer time each day, learn basic to complex drafting skills and standards, understand engineering concepts, and learn to prepare drawings for rendering and animation.

Career Cluster: Technology & Trades, Science & Engineering

Prior computer or drafting experience helpful. Successful completion of Algebra I recommended.
Program is open entry, which means a student may start at any time depending on space available. Students need at least 1 year for minimum skill development.
